Your Stepping Stone Towards Independence

Young Parent Support Program

Young Parent Support Outreach Program (YPSP)

We’re excited to share that the Young Parent Support Program is now fully mobile and offering personalized outreach services to clients across Renfrew County.

We meet with clients one-on-one, right in their own communities—welcome to you!

YPSP provides individualized instruction and support on a wide range of parenting and life skills through in-person sessions, virtual workshops, and informative presentations.

In partnership with the Community Resource Center, we also offer specialized support for prenatal clients, including nutrition services and a weekly virtual discussion group.

Additionally, we help students connect with Renfrew County school boards to enroll in online high school courses, ensuring continued progress toward completing their OSSD.

At YPSP, we believe in the strength and resilience of young parents. We aim to help you overcome challenges, build a strong foundation for your future, and create positive outcomes for you and your child.

If you're a parent or prenatal youth aged 15 to 25 living in Renfrew County and looking for support, we’d love to hear from you!

“With all the uncertainties one certainty was Lori. I felt safe to struggle”.

Thanks also to Play it Again Sports in Pembroke for assisting us in stretching our funding. Thanks to our fundraising through Delta Bingo and Gaming, we are able to provide skates for all the children. Winter is long—let's get out and enjoy ourselves with our children!
